We here at TPEG are in total devastation over the sudden passing of our Advisory Board Chair Dr. R. Richard Lee. Rick Lee was a very invaluable member of the TPEG family. Rick lead my Advisory team for almost 10yrs. We also sat on the Advisory Board for Thurgood Marshall Center in DC until he became Vice-Chair of the Board. His guidance, intellect, brilliance, professionalism, and friendship is going to be deeply missed. His legacy and impact on those who knew him, community, and Kappa family shall live on forever. I learned so much from this former NCR Global Executive. He is truly ill replaceable. R.I.H my friend 💔😢

Cicely Tyson...
built a successful career by carefully choosing roles that exemplified quality and depth. She won accolades and awards for her performances on TV, stage and in film, with credits including Sounder, Roots, The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman, Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All, and The Help. Tyson won three Emmy Awards and a Tony Award, among other honors, over the course of her acting career. She was inducted into the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame in 1977.

Debra Lee...
She was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BET, the parent company for Black Entertainment Television from 2005 to May 28, 2018. Lee has sat on the board of directors for a number of companies/organizations, including the National Cable & Telecommunications Association the Ad Council, and the National Cable Television Association. Debra Lee is named one of the "100 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment" by The Hollywood Reporter due to her many achievements in her 30-plus year career at BET.
