Not every piercing bump is a keloid.

Most bumps have an underlying source of irritation — and figuring out that cause is the first step toward getting the piercing back on track.

Swipe for some of the most common causes!

🧨 Healed and settled 🧨

Black & grey work built to hold its detail over time!

★ A tattoo shouldn't only look good the day it's finished. Think about how it'll hold up 1, 5, 10, even 20 years from now 💭
★ Spacing, size, contrast, placement, and detail all play a role in how well a tattoo stays readable over time!

💖surface piercing✨

A few things to know:
• Every body heals differently.
• Average healing time is 2–6 months (sometimes longer).
• Consistent aftercare is essential.
• Surface piercings naturally have a higher risk of migration and rejection than many traditional piercings, even with perfect care.

The goal isn't just getting the piercing—it's giving it the best possible chance to heal and last.

Have questions or wondering if your anatomy is suitable? We'd be happy to help! 🫶
