What if SZA’s “Snooze” had a classic reggae feel? 🇯🇲🔥

Funny thing I learned from being a DJ…

I could show up, support everybody’s events, promote, celebrate their wins and genuinely want to see them succeed.

But when I started throwing my own events?

Suddenly everybody became a critic. 😂

Less support. More scrutiny. Strange energy. Random opinions nobody ordered.

It taught me something:

Some people are comfortable supporting you… as long as you’re helping build their stage.

Start building your own, and you’ll quickly find out who was actually rooting for you.

Anybody else ever experience this?

The DJ business will teach you quick…

Not everybody standing beside you is rooting for you.

Some are just studying the blueprint.
