This is a post about never letting anyone stifle your goals and dreams…..
This is age 18. ONE year ago at age 17, she said she wanted to start acting and singing. 😳She wanted to go to collage for theater. I’m not going to lie we were all a little shocked and told her, you realize, you’ll be getting thrown in with kids that have been singing and acting their whole lives and you’ve never done anything like this…ever. But, we also said, don’t let that stop you, and do what you want, and what you think will make you happy. BUT, it’s going to probably be a hard road. Well, she didn’t let it stop her. She starting taking voice lessons and has NEVER taken an acting class to this day! Can I just tell you that she is amazing! She showed us! We aren’t allowed to post any videos of The Little Mermaid play she just did where she was cast as Ursula. Since we can’t post any video of that, I have a video of the floor 🤣 in a lesson of her singing “Somewhere That’s Green” from the Little Shop of Horrors. I get goosebumps hearing how amazing her voice is. I am posting Little Mermaid pics because the whole show was jaw dropping! Those kids hit it out of the park! And the costumes were so amazing! Anyhow, just a reminder not to let anyone get in the way of your dreams and goals because Braydee is living proof that if you set your mind to something and work hard, you can make it happen! I still can’t believe this is her after only one year of vocal training and zero acting lessons! 🤯
P.S. Not only is she one talented kid, but she also our niece and we are so proud of her! 🥰
