Atlanta film history is weird, bloody, and starting tomorrow night at 7:30 PM.
We are celebrating Atlanta’s own notorious production company, Film Ventures International, with a chaotic Georgia-made horror double feature.
The Lineup:
GRIZZLY (1976) – An 18-foot, human-eating beast realizes tourists taste better than berries. It’s a tidal wave of pine-scented bloodshed and officially the third most upsetting PG movie ever made.
MUTANT (1984) – Wings Hauser wears short-shorts and fights glowing, toxic-wastoid zombies in a small Southern town. Think Dawn of the Dead meets C.H.U.D.
Daniel Griffith of Daniel Griffith and quarlo_video_clinic will provide a special introduction to kick off the night. We will also have a much-needed intermission between features so you can refill your popcorn, grab beverages, and stretch your legs.
This event is proudly sponsored by local legends Videodrome and quarlo_video_clinic. Link in bio for tickets.
