FATE AND FREEDOM | CHOICE & PURPOSE

What will we choose?

Fate is what we are given. Freedom is what we do with it.

We do not choose every circumstance, every obstacle, or every part of the past that has shaped us. But we can choose how we respond. We can choose what we carry forward. And we can choose whether our individual voices remain separate or become part of something greater.

Fate and Freedom is the destination of our All Together Now journey.

The season began by asking who we are. It explored where we belong, awakened us to what might become possible, and listened to the echoes of what formed us.

Now it asks one final question: What will we choose?

ECHOES OF THE EAST | MEMORY & CONTINUITY

What continues through us?

An echo begins with a voice, but it does not end when the original sound disappears. It travels. It returns. It changes. It becomes part of another moment.

Echoes of the East explores memory and continuity, and the ways our identities are shaped by the people, places, cultures, and experiences that came before us.

The past reaches the present. The present answers. And that answer becomes a new voice for the future.

In this chapter of All Together Now, Then, Now, and Next exist together.

AWAKENINGS | DISCOVERY & BECOMING

What is becoming possible?

An awakening begins with a question: Who are we now, and who are we becoming?

Awakenings explores moments when something previously unseen becomes visible: imagination, potential, artistic expression, a young musician discovering a voice, or a community discovering what it can become.

For Atlanta Metropolitan Symphony, that idea has particular meaning in a season of growth and new identity. The future is not simply something we wait for. It is something we nurture through education, mentorship, collaboration, and opportunity.

A WINTER IN LONDON | PLACE & BELONGING

Where do we belong?

A place is more than a point on a map. It is its people, traditions, memories, movement, sounds, and stories.

In A Winter in London, our All Together Now journey turns toward place and belonging. Through the musical life of London, we explore how people give meaning to the places they inhabit, and how those places, in turn, become part of who they are.

Together is where belonging begins: in the communities we inherit, the communities we enter, and the communities we help create.

VIVA LAS AMÉRICAS | SHARED IDENTITY

Who are we?

Our 2026–27 All Together Now journey begins with shared identity.

The Americas are not one people, one culture, or one tradition. They are many histories, nations, communities, rhythms, and voices existing alongside one another.

Viva las Américas celebrates the idea that coming together does not require us to surrender what makes us distinct. We can retain our own identities while discovering what we share. Many voices become one experience.
