Joy. I'm totally stunned by this. You've been an inspiration. In this too-busy world of digital connection, you were always making the rounds in person. You knew the importance of fleeting time and the celebration of the moment. Everything you did was conscious style. So generous. So devoted. Your love for your daughter always moved me. I remember seeing you for the first time late nineties regulating on the MJQ dance floor, before I moved to Atlanta, and years later I recognized you the moment you pulled up at The Secret Spot on your vintage bike complete with light-up pink flamingo handlebar accessory. Thank yo so much for coming over post-covid and bringing that giant canvas to paint on, it got me reignited. I'll always think of us eating lunch on the job-site, sharing the incredible Laotian food you cooked the night before and how you brought portions for me. Damn. This is so tragic. Was smiling thinking about you just yesterday. I would have never thought this. Atlanta lost a very special part of Atlanta. Pearl in the Sky.

Charleston!!! I am so friggin excited to make this show announcement! I'm coming home for the holidays with my new project Invaders On Mars and I've put a show together with my long-lost, long-time collaborator and one of my favorite artists Andrew Barranca. Andrew will be performing his legendary experimental noise project Gaybomb and his rad band Public Luxuries will be performing.
