Please join us this Saturday for a dance featuring guest caller Jack Pladdys — his first time calling for us! Jack will call Advanced and Challenge tips in the afternoon session, then Mainstream and Plus tips in the evening.

What does it mean to “dance boy” or “dance girl”?
Whatever you want it to mean! Gender identity may or may not line up with the part or parts you dance, and that’s ok! Most of our members can dance both, and no one cares what you look or sound like.

Welcome to Hotlanta Squares, a square dancing club for LGBTQ+ folks and allies in Atlanta, Georgia. If you've never been square dancing before, are new to the area, or want to visit us, here is what you can expect! Everyone in the club is super welcoming, and it's easy to get started with just a few simple moves. We meet at the Briarcliff Woods Beach Club on Morris Landers Dr. every week, with our beginner class starting at 7pm on Mondays.
Some light snacks are provided.

In addition to a second open house tonight -- at which we'll be welcoming new students and potential new club members, so a strong turnout is advantageous -- we've just started a new round of Plus lessons. Recall that a number of calls moved from Advanced to Plus and vice-versa this year, so even experienced Plus dancers might benefit from the review.
