Goat Farm Open Studios returns Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 12pm to 6pm.

🚶 Wander the campus, step into working studios, and meet the artists who shape the place.

🎶 Moon Age Records () will host a pop-up with vinyl from a range of vendors, plus a DJ spinning throughout the day.

🫔 El Ponce () will be popping up with their tamale cart, also offering hot chocolate and churros.

🆓 Goat Farm Open Studios is free, all ages, and ADA accessible.

😎 Expect a low-key afternoon to look, listen, and do a little holiday shopping.

When I was in Sorry No Ferrari, we got to be the opener for The Charlie Brown Christmas show at The Earl one year. The last show of the weekend was a Sunday afternoon show. Brent was playing with one of his side projects later that night after the Charlie Brown show was over. He and his bandmates arrived just as we were starting to load out of the show. Brent walked in and saw me, hands full, carrying a guitar and a pedal board and with a backpack on. He immediately stopped and yelled back to his band mates, “TURN IT AROUND GUYS, THEY ARE STILL LOADING OUT!!” Then he looked at me and apologized when he didn’t need to at all. This was plenty into big time Mastodon fame. A little while after Crack The Sky came out. He easily could have been a rockstar about it. But in that moment he chose kindness and patience. He was just one of us. I’ll never forget that moment. Rest well Brent. The great gig in the sky just got a lot more awesome.
