It’s so exciting to see how far we’ve come. When I () started Art Club, I was going thru a creative slump working on and Needed to step back and do something outside of fashion to get my creative juices flowing. I knew I still wanted to do something visual but didn’t want any boundaries on what I could do. After some mediation and self reflection I remembered that my first love was always painting and that joy of creating something with paint on canvas. I always thought it was so crazy that my peers that were amazing visual artists were relatively unknown and my other non artist friends didn’t know how or were to find out about new artist. That’s when Art club came to me, the idea to connect talented visual artist with people who wanted to buy art, but in a unique environment that was neither a club, a shop, or a gallery but a little bit of each. This past group art show was amazing, seeing first time art buyers, buying art made my heart warm fuzzy. Thanks to all the artists who participated, cat eye creative gallery and everyone who bought art, and everyone that came to celebrate the artists.
