Atlanta Leather Pride

Atlanta Leather Pride Atlanta Leather Pride first started in 2010 to give the Atlanta community a big kinky Leather weekend at the Atlanta Eagle. https://givebutter.com/ALP-General

The weekend is intended to be a safe home for anyone who needs it. The weekend includes social events, demos, dancing, and the ALP contests as well. We are very glad to call the Atlanta Eagle our home, and love bringing people into the bar to enjoy the space that we love. Consider donating to support the Atlanta Leather Pride operations with a one time or recurring donation through the link below.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ALP-SEBB Events Announces Organizational Restructuring

After 16 incredible years of service to the Atlanta community, we are announcing a restructure of ALP-SEBB Events, effective July 24, 2025.

Since 2008, ALP-SEBB Events has proudly hosted an estimated 900 events bringing people together, spreading knowledge, supporting causes, and creating countless unforgettable memories throughout the Atlanta area. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey and absolutely none of this history would have been possible without all of the countless volunteers, attendees, sponsors, and our team through the years.

Jack Handcock will assume the role of Executive Director. Under his leadership the organization will continue with a primary focus on education based events. Further details will be shared in the coming months.

As part of this transition, Atlanta Leather Pride, one of ALP-SEBB’s cornerstone events, will now be managed and produced by The Atlanta Eagle. Their team is currently evaluating options and plans to determine the future of the event.

We are proud of the work we’ve done and the relationships we’ve built over many years of service to the Atlanta Community. As we move into this next phase, we are confident that the events that continue—and the ones we've passed on to new leadership—will remain in good hands.

ALP-SEBB Events extends heartfelt thanks to its attendees, volunteers, partners, and supporters for 16 years of unwavering encouragement and engagement.

With love and respect,
The ALP-SEBB Events Team

It is with great sadness that the SEBB/ALP team and staff announce the passing of our friend and brother, John "JP" Paquette.

As Mr. Atlanta Eagle 2014, JP joined the ranks of great leaders of our community, donating countless hours to various charities and working with the Eagle staff and clubs alike to affirm the motto that "all are welcome".

As a former Mr. Atlanta Eagle, it's particularly tough to experience one of our own cross that rainbow bridge knowing they won't be adding their unique voice and energy to the tenets that we strive to uphold in these trying times.

While he could appear to be shy and soft spoken to new friends, his way of retelling stories brought you in to fully experience his brand of humor and his hand on your arm or shoulder as you both shared a deep belly laugh together.

Your smile and your wisdom will be missed, but you will not be forgotten. There is another Mr. Atlanta Eagle that is on the other side waiting to welcome you. Fly high brother. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**

The ALP-SEBB team is working in partnership with the Atlanta Eagle and other community members to keep the larger events on the calendar balanced as much as possible. Historically before 2023, Atlanta Leather Pride was held in the spring alongside the Atlanta Eagle’s birthday celebration.

Moving forward we will be going back to spring and our next Atlanta Leather Pride will be held March 27-29, 2026.

We are thrilled that our current titleholders are currently planning to extend their time from Oct to March. As we progress thru the year we will evaluate new landing spots for other ALP-SEBB events.

One behalf of ALP-SEBB, Inc we would like to thank everyone who came together to make this year's Atlanta Leather Pride such a great weekend. Our first ever MX Atlanta Eagle, Ames and our new Mr Atlanta Eagle Ed are excited to jump in and show y'all what they have to give this year.
We are still resting up from the big weekend followed right by Atlanta Pride, but we have some exciting news to share. Thanks to the amazing support from our participants and sponsors we are very proud to be making a donation of $6,235 to the Atlanta Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. This money will go a long way to helping those who need it, and we are all very happy to be a part of that.
