Surrounded by art, fashion, and smiles, every walk down the runway showed how beautiful it is to wear an outfit with confidence and personality. FIVE SHIRTS. FIVE DESIGNS. ONE UNIVERSE OF EMOTIONS.

What happens when art, freedom, identity, and the spirit of Atlanta come together? You get a collection that tells a story beyond fashion.

At the Ruggery Sánchez Fashion Show 2026, Ruggery unveiled five T-shirt designs, each carrying a piece of his artistic universe.

🚀 The astronaut represents the freedom to dream big, reach for the moon, and believe that no destination is too far.

🇻🇪 “Tú sí eres frescolita!” brings a beloved Venezuelan expression to life, celebrating the humor, nostalgia, and cultural identity that connect us to our roots.

🌆 Atlanta’s identity adds another layer to the collection, honoring the city that inspires new beginnings, creativity, and the freedom to become who we are.

Art in motion. 🎨🚌

Being part of an artistic project with MARTA, Atlanta’s public transportation system, is an experience I deeply value as a Venezuelan artist who has found in the United States a place to grow, create, and share my vision with the world.

MARTA has been part of Atlanta’s story since 1965, launching bus service in 1972 and rail service in 1979. Today, its commitment to public art creates opportunities for artists to bring creativity into everyday spaces and connect with people throughout the city.

Having my artwork featured on MARTA buses for an entire year is an incredible opportunity to take my art beyond gallery walls and make it part of Atlanta’s streets, where it can be seen and experienced by thousands of people.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, this achievement means even more to me. It celebrates the talent, dedication, and contributions of those who come from different backgrounds and build their dreams in the United States through art and creativity.

I’m Ruggery, a Venezuelan artist, and I believe art has no borders. It brings people together, tells stories, and leaves a lasting impression.

Thank you to MARTA for creating space for artistic expression and giving me the opportunity to be part of this meaningful project.

El arte cobra un significado especial cuando sale del estudio y comienza a encontrarse con nuevas personas, nuevos espacios y nuevas historias.

Por eso quiero agradecer a ZUAREPA por creer en mi trabajo y por acompañarme en un momento tan importante de mi carrera con mi solo exhibition “Reinvención”.

Cada espacio donde comparto mi obra representa una oportunidad para conectar, para contar parte de mi historia y para seguir llevando mi arte más allá de las fronteras.

¿Y si el arte también pudiera tener sabor a Venezuela?

Eso fue lo que vivimos este viernes en la apertura de REINVENCIÓN, en el Lawrenceville Arts Center.

Gracias a nuestros amigos de Quesitos por ser parte de este momento y llevar hasta la galería ese sabor que despierta recuerdos, conecta generaciones y nos hace sentir un poquito más cerca de casa.

Porque cuando nuestras raíces se encuentran, no importa si eres venezolano o si estás descubriendo Venezuela por primera vez: hay sabores que simplemente se quedan contigo.

Gracias por acompañarnos en esta nueva historia.
