A father’s presence is everything, I’ve never ever had to question what it means to be a man, because this man, my father Leon Mack, set that example for me from day one.
Fathers, be present in your sons’ lives, because in these anything goes times that we’re living in, a lot of them out here confused and following the wrong examples. Yes Mama & GrandMama can teach us love, but they can’t show us how stand firm on our manhood and be a man. No if, ands, or buts. And Mothers, if your childrens’ father is a good example, don’t assasinate his character just because he’s not perfect, allow him to be that good example of what a man is to your sons. and In time you’ll realize how important he is to your son becoming a man, & not a confused boy who can be manipulated & misled into trying to be or thinking that he is something that he naturally is not! Thank you Daddy for the example that you set for me!
Pictured here is my father and a toddler D J Ras Imon. You can feel the great sense of security & confidence I must’ve felt in this picture. I still feel it to this day, even though my father is no longer here in the flesh, this picture sums up how I secure I feel as I face this world on my own!
