I recently received a commission request to paint sweet little Scout, the first dog of a family that said goodbye to him many years ago after a long and happy life. It was so moving to receive such a request, as the animals we care for can impact our lives in such powerful and loving ways. They are family and live in our hearts forever. I hope this piece can serve as another way to keep his spirit alive. 💙

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of Kai Lin Art’s Play exhibition. Having these pieces find their homes and getting to meet those who chose them is truly so special to me. ✨

There’s something incredibly touching and rewarding about knowing my work has connected with someone on such a deep level. 💝

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to the show, who has supported my journey, and to those who chose to bring a piece of it into their lives. I’m so excited to share that I’ll be a part of Play, a new group exhibition opening at this Friday, March 20th from 7-10 PM 🎊

This show brings together an incredible lineup of artists - painters, sculptors, printmakers, and mixed media makers - all exploring the role of play in the creative process. It’s about curiosity, experimentation, and the way play becomes a tool for discovery, reflection, and transformation.

I’m especially honored to be showing alongside such inspiring artists as Lela Brunet & Phil Harris, Krista Grecco, Jasmin Warnock, Jason Swift, Alice Stone Collins, Jeffry Wilcox Paclipan, Petie Parker, and Larry Jens Anderson.

For this exhibition, I’ll be presenting a series of intimate miniature watercolors centered around small, joyful moments - favorite snacks, childhood objects, and overlooked bits of every day life. Each piece brings with a simple thought: this makes me happy. I invite you to slow down, lean in, and reconnect with those little joys.

The show runs through April 24th, so you’ll have time to come experience it - but opening night is always something special. 💫
