While I should be spending this time highlighting all the benefits of this platform and try to upsell you on our marketplace. I want to take the opportunity to practice some gratitude and a little manifesting. ✨

I am so grateful for this chance to be of service to you. Whether you are reading this on launch day or many years from now; I am grateful for the chance to connect with you on a human level. 🫶🏾

I am grateful for the people who support what we are trying to do here. I am also grateful for the people who don’t get it and never will get it. It is your unwillingness and doubts that push me to go harder and focus on the people who need it the most.💪🏾

Thank you for challenging me, calling me out on my mess (with grace and understanding). Thank you for lifting me up when I fall. Thank you for wrapping your loving arms around me when it gets to be too much.🙏🏾

Thank you for a collective of womxn; thriving, building, connecting, learning, growing, giving constructive criticism…

So much gratitude to the womxn who see each other, really see other. While you may not always understand each other, you have opened your hearts and minds up enough to embrace that fact. It’s ok to not always “get it”. 🙇🏾‍♀️

I love you, even if you don’t feel the same. I embrace you; even when you’re hurting and feel the need to tear me down. I understand that hurt and the need to the let animal in you be heard through your ego. That’s what Shades of Womxn is all about, opening up a safe space to have a human experience with other women having their own.💕

Day 3; how are we here so fast 💨

I’d like to use this day to mention our Artist & Artisan program. Our program is designed to highlight and support artists, artisans and small business owners from BIPOC communities. As small, black-owned business; I am all too familiar with the challenges of getting your brand name out there.

Other marketplaces charge all kinds of hidden fees and are highly saturated with varying products. That’s why I created my marketplace with a more collaborative approach. We are supporting each other grow and you know exactly who your target audience will be. If you want to learn more please checkout the link in our description.

So let’s jump into this year and day 4️⃣ of our prelaunch countdown getting to know more about the company and it’s founder.

Shades of Womxn is about the third iteration of a passion project of mine. This final, yet still evolving stage of the business brings me a great source of peace and happiness. I get to celebrate who I am out loud with other women celebrating who they are. 💃🏽

As we are closing out 2023, it is only natural to start doing some reflecting 🧐

I have been doing so much in preparation of this launch; it has affected my mental health in ebbs and flows. The highlight out of all of it has been connecting with beautiful human beings; especially women.

One young woman I would like to highlight in particular is . We have not only collaborated on a song but made a great human connection. I can’t wait for you to experience her artistry. Please check out our song and her other music 🎶 ; streaming on platforms now and link in the bio

In my first post, I mentioned that I was currently manifesting Shades of Womxn. I posted that November 5, 2020. 👀

Well, there’s only so much manifesting you can do without putting things into action. So I finally told my fears to take a backseat and got into it…

I am both terrified and excited to share with you that Shades of Womxn will be launching in 7 days. Over 6+ months of grinding, connecting, lapses of depression, imposter syndrome and all the feelings associated with launching a business venture on your own (with the help of friends of course)🥰🥰🥰
