This piece reflects a relationship that was both sacred and complicated. The serpent appears twice—first as deception quietly winding its way into the foundation, and again as a force wrapped around a blooming rose, symbolizing love that became entangled with pain. Above them, watchful eyes represent divine truth: the awareness that every hidden thing is seen, even when the heart chooses grace over certainty. The crimson figures along the edge embody outside influences, jealousy, and the unseen energies that can surround love and distort it.
Rather than painting people, I paint what remains after they leave.
