Our Guys and Dolls collection just got a full rebuild, and it shows.

New gambler suits in every size and color. Tailored red Mission looks. Havana dresses built to dance and twirl. Hot Box costumes with real sass. Headpieces and accessories to finish every look. And the props are just as loaded: dice, cash, real band instruments, and period pieces we hunted down one by one to get every detail right.

This collection has been part of Triple Threat Design for years. It's never looked better.

If Guys and Dolls is part of your season, we'd love to help you bring it to life.

SIX 👑

Every queen has her own personality, attitude, and style, so every costume had to be completely different. The challenge was making six unique, complete looks that still felt like they belonged together.

And when we say complete, we mean complete. Every queen's look includes the costume, accessories, tights, and shoes, so it's truly head to toe. We also have Ladies in Waiting costumes if you're going all in.

We probably spent way too many hours on the details... but that's what makes these costumes shine. Metallic trims, custom appliqués, studs, chains, rhinestones, textured leathers, and layers of specialty fabrics give each queen her own signature look.

Six queens. Head-to-toe looks. One less thing for you to worry about. 👑

Every so often, a show comes along that's just plain fun to build. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was one of those.

Wonka gets the standout piece, a rich velvet coat topped with a chocolate-covered top hat. The squirrels bring their own quiet menace, taking their nut sorting very, very seriously. The Oompa Loompas fill every corner with color. And Violet, mid-inflation, is still one of our favorite moments to see on stage.

The props got just as much attention. A Wonka Bar big enough to be its own set piece. An alarming number of sausages. An iron-clad contract that unrolls for 70 feet. And enough candy to stock a factory.

Ridiculous? Absolutely.

But these are the shows that remind us why we love what we do.

For Hadestown, you just gotta have them. The lights. Ours hang, obviously. But they can also be unclipped and held and used as spotlights and danced with (because they weigh practically nothing). We have all the other cool stuff, too. Like the magic carnation that literally grows in Orpheus’s hand. And the paper flower he makes on stage. And the headlamps. Need them? Let us know. Don’t waaaaaait. (See what we did there?) triple-threat-design.com

Everybody remembers the monster. But we were over here building an entire Transylvanian village. Layers, trims, headpieces, texture... Young Frankenstein gave us the perfect excuse to get a little carried away, and honestly, zero regrets.

Building worlds instead of just costumes is our favorite kind of work. If Young Frankenstein is on your season, let's talk.

Hi.

Remember us?

We're Triple Threat Design. We build costumes, props, and set decor and then apparently forget the internet exists for months (or maybe years) at a time.

In our defense, we've been busy doing the actual job. We built a full Young Frankenstein production, hung swinging lights in Hadestown, brought a Beetlejuice sandworm to life, and quietly shipped costumes and props to about 100 shows across the country since the last time you saw us post anything.

We are not proud of our social media habits.

We are, however, very proud of the sandworm.

We're going to try to show up more. But we've disappeared before, and we'll probably do it again the second something needs to be hot glued by yesterday.

Stick around!
