fuuuuull circle moment. 💌

As a student not too long ago, I loved when alumni would visit campus and offer a glimpse into what life after graduation could look like. Recently, I had the opportunity to be on the other side of that experience.

Last week, I returned to Hayman’s Hall and presented my Sketch to Surface process to ILLU x FIBR students ; from early sketches + research to finished surface designs and applications as a print designer at Carter’s.

So meaningful connecting with students and talking honestly about process, growth, and what comes next. Always so grounding to return and reflect on where it all started, makes me emotional!

Thank you to everyone who came through with such thoughtful questions, and especially to the incredible CAS team: .k_cas who made it all happen. Truly an honor.

[shoutout to for the photography and for letting me re-live roomie days once again]

new work, now IRL. 🍓

Had the amazing chance to design prints for the x collab: playful, fresh, and made for tiny tiny humans.

Forever grateful to see print design live beyond the screen, on brands I resonate with!

Thank you for your immense help with this (as per usual), as well as the carters baby Design team. 💐

Final doodle: Blocking shapes over random scribble marks, letting the crazy guide the composition.

Very freeing process — Hopefully kick starts a creative week ahead! 🎄

from flat lays to full beds.🧵

To wrap up the Yunus dump, I present fabric and color swatches, presentation assets, process pics, and how designs came to life piece by piece (literally lol). An amazing team and an incredible opportunity.

One year at Carter’s! (Technically a few weeks late—June 24th—but worth a little pause.)

It’s wild to think how much has happened in just 12 months; from learning the ropes of apparel print design, researching runway and trends like crazy, to collaborating on collections across amazing teams. Recreating this photo of my first day on the job a year later with the amazing women I started with felt like a full-circle moment. I’m proud of the growth, the friendships, and the prints that quietly carry a bit of me into the world… for real, in stores and on baby clothes!

Thanks to my amazing support system here in ATL, my team, my leaders, and everyone who’s helped me grow this past year. I cannot express how much I love what I do and the people I do it with.

After getting over a huge feeling of surreal-ness, here I am sharing just a tiny sneak peak of my very first prints in stores now…Eek! More to come...
