I'm still reeling from Red Dead Redemption 2!
It took me over 180 hours to complete Red Dead Redemption 2. I didn't specifically pursue achievements, and I didn't enjoy hunting or fishing. I was purely a story-driven player; I've probably completed most of the main, side, and stranger quests. (Except for those requiring map clearing and collection, which I genuinely dislike.)
The final chapter was a bittersweet experience—frustrating, heartwarming, and heartbreaking all at once. Using John to "massacre the village" was the only way to alleviate the frustration of not being able to riddle Micah and Dutch with bullets. The heartwarming part was finally seeing John with his own warm little family, something Arthur never had, and his brother felt it for him. But after researching the first game's story, I learned that John's family only enjoyed a short, happy life... I'm planning to quit the first game now; I simply can't accept the tragedy.
This game features a bunch of rough, violent, and vulgar men, but they're all incredibly innocent boys. John even tells a beautiful woman, "I love my wife," while taking a shower. Arthur blushes and his heart races during his date with Mary (supposedly the controller shakes). They even try to persuade prostitutes in bars to stop. I'm truly impressed, hahaha.
