A small print for as well as ~ I am diagnosed with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a genetic connective tissue disorder which primarily affects my skin and joints, but has impacts in multiple bodily systems. For fine motor skills specifically, with any repetitive motion or pressure, my fingers can hyperextend and get stuck that way!!

So, though I love printmaking and all the thought, focus, creativity, and patience that goes into the art process—it kills my hands!! My ring splints help and the Flexcut set my mom gifted me have made a big difference, but I definitely need to invest in a press to help with my wrist, elbow, and shoulder issues. Despite the pain, I really have fallen in love with blockprinting and want to continue to pursue it and improve.

The dagger through the hand motif has a lot of interpretations: danger, fear, strength, resilience, betrayal. So I decided to design one with the printmaker's chisel! My personal interpretation of it is perseverance of the craft despite the struggle (but also a reminder that I am fragile and to take care of myself! 💛)

Made using ink, .tools palm set, and paper. Thanks to for hosting this event!

On a sleepless night, I created a monster... sounds dramatic; I really just joined a game jam LAST minute and cranked out a creature supplement for MÖRK BORG ~ Really happy with what I was able to do in such a limited time frame. My sleep schedule is wrecked, but hey, I made something 🤘 It's available for free or PWYW on itch.io, and includes a ravenous revenant, its statblock, and a few plot hooks. https://morimox.itch.io/shrouded-sovereign

The cover for my MÖRK BORG compatible supplement~! Some of my favorite details are the twin-headed basilisk hidden in the 'S' along with all of the talon-like curves in the title. And the Ars-Goetia-esque sigil that I came up with for the chalice! It is downloadable for free or pay-what-you-want~ https://morimox.itch.io/slithering-gorge

This project was a mix of traditional and digital art. I've always struggled with digital, but treating it like a physical medium really helped it click for me. I worked with it as a reductive art, using the eraser tool to take away little by little until I got the shape I wanted. This was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to making more game supplements in the future~

The inspiration for this piece was me getting obliterated by mosquitoes while taking my foster puppy out in the middle of the night in the pitch black rural South. My lantern was a source of light, but also a source of misery, lol. Originally drawn on halftone paper with black and white ink, but I've been reworking it into a stencil for a large linocut piece! I was thinking of trying to do a multi-block multi-color relief print, which I've never tried before :0

Quick, simple stamp for "journal"~ Also trying to widdle down my growing stash of lino/speedycarve leftovers and scraps of printmaking paper, lol. But I think something like this would be so cute in a bullet journal to track what you're reading. I'm imagining a spread of a bookshelf with little books stamped in and you can just write whatever you read that month/year on the blank spine ^_^ I'm gonna meet my reading goal this year (yeee!), but I fell off HARD on bullet journaling. I was too focused on every spread being perfect instead of actually using it for its intended purpose >_>;; But I think little stamps would be so useful for someone like me (a recovering perfectionist, lol)
