The Twin Oaks Summer Concert Series is one of Atlanta’s most enchanting "hidden gem" musical traditions, offering an intimate, grassroots experience in the heart of historic Inman Park. Born out of a community desire to reconnect and support local musicians during the pandemic, the series transforms a privately maintained, one-acre park tucked behind the Victorian homes of Sinclair, Colquitt, and

Seminole Avenues into a vibrant outdoor amphitheater. Unlike larger, commercial venues, Twin Oaks retains a soulful, "backyard party" atmosphere where neighbors and music lovers gather on picnic blankets with their own cocktails and coolers to enjoy world-class talent under a canopy of old-growth trees. It is a 100% volunteer-run, donation-based labor of love that prioritizes the connection between the artist and the audience, making it the perfect setting to witness the storytelling magic of local legends like Shawn Mullins. As the sun sets over the city and the string lights glow, the series captures the true spirit of Atlanta: community-driven, eclectic, and deeply rooted in a shared love for live music.
