Tonight I got to teach Yoga at Cherry Hill Village in Canton. This opportunity led me to talking about how trauma can affect your bodies and how Yoga is a great pathway to releasing the effects of trauma from your body. If you’re available next Thursday, come and join me for a free yoga class.

 Had an absolutely amazing weekend at Jeep Fest in Toledo, Ohio. Jeep Fest (most notably the Toledo Jeep Fest in Toledo, Ohio) is a massive annual three-day festival celebrating the history, culture, and community of the Jeep brand. Held in the city where Jeeps have been manufactured since 1941, it draws over 100,000 attendees and thousands of Jeep vehicles from across the country.
Saturday I got to participate in the Jeep parade with over 1400 jeeps of all styles. Dana corporation was the sponsor and I had the pleasure of wearing one of the official Dana T-shirts during the parade.
I got to pass out flags for each jeep, place a duck on each Jeep and I had the opportunity to pass out ducks along the parade route. 
Why ducks? It’s a tradition that started years ago when a woman wanted to spread a little bit of kindness and placed a rubber duckie on a jeep. That kindness spread and became a tradition for fellow jeepers. That is why you see all the rubber ducks inside the windows of jeeps. People come from all over to collect rubber duckies as they are thrown in the parade.
