Upcoming Exhibitions
Discarded Identitities
Buckhead Art & Company is proud to present "Discarded Identities," a striking new exhibition by artist Dima Alekseyev opening Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Inspired by a conceptual dialogue with Yasumasa Morimura, who famously eschewed his own Japanese identity by dissolving into iconic Western art figures like Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Marilyn Monroe, and Vermeer’s subjects. Alekseyev explores the art of self-erasure and borrowed personas worn like a second skin. Join us for an unforgettable opening night immersed in staged history, virtuosic transformation, and the relentless quest to escape oneself.
Harlem Nights: Unsung Heroes
Buckhead Art & Company is proud to present "Harlem Nights: Unsung Heroes," an extraordinary new exhibition by artist BD Stellmacher opening Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This powerful project celebrates the visionary poets, musicians, educators, and community leaders whose creativity and resilience fueled the Harlem Renaissance yet remained largely absent from history’s spotlight. Through Stellmacher's signature technique of blending layered fabrics with acrylic paint, each portrait emerges as a rich, textured tribute to both the era itself and the unsung icons who shaped a lasting cultural movement. Join us for an inspiring opening night honoring the forgotten heroes whose enduring legacy continues to influence generations.
