LONG POST 🚨 ALERT! This is just a glimpse of this weekend! Saturday my business partner and I curated our first “Faith Lounge” and God did HIS big one! Everything was not perfect! Including our Faith at times looking at numbers and going off of how we felt in moments of disappointment. One day it was super rough and that same day the DJ called to say he mistakenly doubled booked. We couldn’t do nothing but, laugh! That moment led us right back to Christ! Making us go back to our “why.”
I’ll tell you this my faith tribe is UNMATCHED! They reminded me each time who I serve and how absolutely big my God is! I sowed some seeds, made some sacrifices, got me a mentor, and started praising God in advance! I might shake a little, I might get overwhelmed but, I never throw in the towel! I pray in good times and during the storm! Faith walker and Jesus stalker! We’re human and sometimes we “fail” the test but, get back up and try again!
While the world is chasing a “look” or judging you based on followers, likes, shares, your image… those things can change at anytime. God is constantly proving that if you walk in BELIEF and serve His people He’ll never leave you. I’m not perfect. Not even trying to be, I’m REAL! Don’t allow people to weaponize your truths! You weaponize your past by giving God glory for what you’re not anymore and what you’re GOING TO BE! I have what I SAY I HAVE ACCORDING TO MY FAITH! We made the money and gave it away! A true testament of our “why!”
The DJ called back and said “your event is just more important to me.” Bruh! Real tears, went from 13 tickets sold to sold out and people calling to see what they could do in THREE DAYS! Chef made adjustments from the heart and God moved mountains! There’s nothing like serving a God who is living! Faith Lounge started with me! Me having faith!
