As January is closing, I'm looking back on the last year all over again. Can you believe we're already one month down? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So far, I've stuck to my writing goals (but not my submitting ones), and I've been letting myself grieve for all of the things I never let myself acknowledge before. There are a lot of feelings happening, ha. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Saturdays are usually for Dungeons & Dragons, but since covid, we've only gotten together a handful of times and always after isolation/with social distancing measures. This awful spike has completely stopped our adventures, though. So have a spread of my notes from back when we were playing this summer. Of course, what's a goal to read 21 books in 2021 without a tracker? Especially since I want to get better about reviewing them! Do you read book reviews before grabbing a new book? Usually I go with the flow and just read whatever, but I LOVE to read the reviews after I've finished a book! Everyone experiences things so differently. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Getting around to sharing some of my art - I sold this piece a few months ago to a friend-of-a-friend online who just so happened to live near my hometown! Adding that as one mark done on my “create” goal for this year, ha! Do you make new year goals? These are my same goals as always but I do find it satisfying to write them down.
