35,000 of you. Y’all, I’m sitting with that number for a minute. 🙏🏾✨

When we started in 2010, it was about one thing: making sure Black writers had a room where they were seen, celebrated, and taken seriously. Not a seat at somebody else’s table, but *our own* table. Every city, every panel, every author who drove hours with a box of books in the trunk, every reader who showed up with a tote bag and an open heart… you built this.

This isn’t just a follower count. It’s a movement of Creatives who refuse to be overlooked. 35K people who believe our stories matter, our voices sell, and our community is worth showing up for.

So thank you. Thank you for the shares, the comments, the ticket purchases, the DMs that say “BWW changed my writing life.” We see you, and we’re just getting started. 💛

And trust us… we’re just getting started.
