I’m excited to be performing a Commedia scenario written by my friends in The Confused Greenies: Players' Patchwork. Gli Sciocchi Stellari will be performing at Red Tower this weekend!

Our colleagues (including some Players of the Patchwork) in Gli Sciocchi Stellari will stage our "The Fiftieth Suitor" this Saturday, October 5 for the Red Tower in the Kingdom of Meridies! In 2019 we refined this commedia dell'arte scenario for an encore for the Midrealm's 50th birthday!

Yesterday at Midwinter A&S, I gave another performance of my latest Shakespearean soliloquy. I must say, I think I like this performance better than the one I gave last month at 12th Night.

Yesterday at the Barony of Bryn Madoc’s 12th Night event, I debuted by next A&S entry: a soliloquy from Act 2 of Hamlet (the one most famous for the ending couplet “The play’s the thing wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the King”).

It went very well, and I’m looking forward to improving it for future A&S faires.

It’s time to start seriously preparing my next big A&S project. I want to do a monologue from Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries (Jonson, Moreley, etc). What’s your favorite Shakespearean monologue or soliloquy?

(Trying to stay away from the obvious ones like “To Be or Not to Be” or “Friends, Romans, Countrymen”).

Gli Sciocchi Stellari performed a short Commedia scenario “Isabella’s Rescue” before feast at Red Tower this past weekend, and it was well-received by the populace.
We seemed to jive better as a troupe for this performance, and it feels like we are definitely getting better at working with each other!

The Shakespeare Tavern in Atlanta has been the victim of arson and is trying to recoup their losses. If you are able to donate anything to them, please consider doing so and helping this wonderful organization continue bringing the joy of historical theater to the city of Atlanta.

Last week at Pennsic, I was able to perform a commedia scenario with I Sebastiani. We put on "The Portrait" by Flaminio Scala. It was a wonderful experience getting to do this show with so many talented players.

Gli Sciocchi Stellari had the opportunity to perform a wonderful bit of original SCA satire at Royal University of Meridies, that is based on recent events. The play was written by Mistress Aibhilin and myself, and filmed by Lola. Thank you so much to all who came to watch it in person, and please enjoy it here as well.
