For the second year in a row, The Government Channel and the City of Athens have received national recognition for excellence in video production.
The Government Channel and the City of Athens are excited to announce that "Athens Armory: Rebirth of an Icon" has been honored with a Silver Telly Award, a national award recognizing excellence in video and television across all screens. The Telly Awards are judged by leaders from the television, streaming, and production industries.
This year, the City of Athens' Government Channel joins an impressive list of Telly Award winners that includes organizations such as ABC News, Sony, and Paramount Television.
"Athens Armory: Rebirth of an Icon" celebrates the vision, dedication, and collaboration that made it possible to preserve and transform the historic Athens Armory into the remarkable community landmark it is today, standing proudly at the north end of Court Street.
