Some more pieces from Anthony Hayes. These are Penannular Brooches, hand made from copper. Penannular brooches were practically the medieval safety pin. They seem to originate in Ireland and are a ubiquitous cloak fastener by the end of the viking era.

A good friend of mine reached out to me wanting to collaborate and raise money for Ukraine. His name is Anthony Hayes (Anthony Hayes). He made some beautiful pieces that I would love to share with you all.

This piece is my personal favorite. It’s made from sterling silver and hand cast from a lost wax investment. The axe of Perun was a medieval symbol of Slavic paganism worn mostly in the 11th-12th century. Perun is a god of storms.

I’ve been exploring a new style of beading. It’s very relaxing if you’ve got a lot of time on your hands! 🙌🏼

This piece symbolizes tranquility, strength and purpose.

This took me a little over an hour and is made of light imperial jade, and agate with a gold wire wrapped calcite stone.
