🍕 Food & Drink Spotlight 🥤

A huge thank you to some incredible members of our community who have stepped up to help make Spectrum Family Fest even more special for our families.

Village Pizza has generously offered FREE pizza (while supplies last) for those attending the event. Shout out to Laci Meals & the Village crew for always supporting!

We are also grateful to BT'S Towing, Tire, and Truck Repair - Barry Tate & Logan Tate , Alicia Loughary, Brittany Potter, and Jessica Conley Smith at Athens Health & Rehabilitation for donating waters & Juice Boxes that will be available for free while supplies last.

✨MEET THE HEART & THE REASON 💛🌈

Hi, I’m Ashlee — the heart behind Spectrum Family Fest. But the reason? That’s my son, Brodie.

Brodie is the spark that lit the fire to bring something like this to life. 🔥

Brodie is on the Autism Spectrum and is nonverbal. Don’t count him out though because he is a mighty warrior, just like the rest of his friends on the Spectrum.

Through him, my perspective changed. He taught me that communication goes far beyond words & that strengths show up in many forms. Every person carries value, even when the world doesn’t fully understand them or tries to count them out.

This event has been 3 years in the making.
3 years of praying.
3 years of dreaming.
3 years of believing that our community needed a space where families could show up exactly as they are, without apology.

Because this journey can feel isolating.
As a mom, I know what it feels like to wonder if anyone else truly understands.

Spectrum Family Fest isn’t just an event.
It’s a DECLARATION*

It says:
You belong here.
Your child belongs here.
Your family belongs here.
Every shade of the Spectrum shines here. 🌈

I may be the heart behind it —
but Brodie & the rest of his community are the reason it’s finally happening.

✨A little about one of your HOSTS 🌈

Hi, my name is Lacy. I’m a mom, a caregiver, and an advocate — and Spectrum Family Fest was created from a very personal place.

I’m a mom to an amazing autistic little boy, and while he has filled our lives with so much joy, love, and perspective, this journey has also shown me how isolating it can feel when the world isn’t built with your child in mind.

I’ve learned that being a caregiver means always thinking ahead — about environments, sensory needs, access, safety, and whether our families will truly feel welcome instead of just accommodated. Too often, families like ours are left out of community spaces, events, and conversations simply because inclusion wasn’t considered from the start.

This festival is about changing that.

Spectrum Family Fest is meant to be a space where all families feel seen, supported, and celebrated exactly as they are. A place where kids can just be kids, caregivers can exhale, and connection replaces isolation. It’s about building community, creating understanding, and reminding families that they are not alone.

This isn’t just an event — it’s a reflection of the kind of community I want my child (and yours) to grow up in. One rooted in acceptance, compassion, and belonging.

We’re so excited to welcome you to the Inaugural Spectrum Family Fest — and to grow something truly meaningful together. 💛🌈

✨Meet one of your HOSTS✨

Hi, I’m RheAnna — a mom, a caregiver, and an inclusion-focused parent.

My journey began with my own child and quickly grew into something larger. Loving and raising my child in a world that isn’t always designed with their needs in mind has shown me both the joy of this path and how isolating it can feel when inclusion isn’t considered from the start.

As a caregiver, I’m always thinking ahead — about environments, sensory needs, access, safety, and whether families will truly feel welcome instead of simply accommodated.

Those lived experiences led me to co-found Spectrum Moms alongside Ashlee, creating a space centered on connection, understanding, and shared support.

What I do is rooted in lived experience and community. I work to help create spaces where children can just be children, caregivers can exhale, and families feel seen and supported exactly as they are.

Everything I build reflects the kind of community I want my child — and yours — to grow up in: one grounded in compassion, belonging, and intentional inclusion.💛🌈
