In honor of Dolly Parton, Chelsy’s momma wanted to share a Chelsy/Dolly memory with y’all because Chelsy was one of Dolly Parton’s biggest fans:

Back in the days before the electric air pump and Chelsy and her sisters were very young, when our family went camping, we’d use a foot pump to blow up our air mattresses. We would all take turns pumping – all 5 of us – even the little ones - as we listened and pumped to Chelsy’s favorite tape, “Dolly Parton’s Greatest Hits.” When the whole tape was finished, the air mattress was filled. It became a tradition — until electric air pumps came to be. There are still some Dolly Parton songs that remind me of this special time. It’s a wonderful memory and I just wanted to share.

RIP Dolly. Your goodness and joy touched so many lives in so many ways. You’ve made heaven even brighter. I’m sure Chelsy is at the front of the line to greet you.

And in your honor, look what I bought for dinner! Thanks for adding to my Chelsy’s sparkle 💖
