There is just something about watching families grow through my lens! I've taken several photos of Cooper and his family throughout the years, and it's crazy to me that he's a senior! We were super lucky and caught the last nice weekend before temps dropped. We did several to commemorate school sports, but my favorite are the photos with the truck that he got from his grandpa. It's been around the block a mile or two (or a few hundred thousand...), and I love the story behind it! Cooper, I hope you have the best senior year and wish you all the best in tech school and beyond!

This past Sunday, I had some fun taking some senior photos of Ava! Holy moly, look how gorgeous she is! And the light at the end of the day was just chef's kiss! It made it really difficult to choose which photos to put up for a preview because they are all so good! Ok, so I have a story to tell, but first can we just take a moment to appreciate how incredibly STUNNING this girl is!? Wowza!

So we meant to take Ellie's photos a week ago, as well as another senior at the sunflowers but my camera had other plans. The sensor is toast and instead of spending a large amount of money on fixing it, it just made more sense to buy a new one... and might as well upgrade while I'm at it. So I jumped right into mirrorless and Ellie was my very first subject to test drive the new camera. Man am I pumped after editing these! The quality is just chef's kiss!

Back to Ellie... I mean did I say she is stunning, 'cause she. is. stunning! Also, I have photographed Ellie's family many a times and while I love to see my families grow... can they like stop growing up? Time sure needs to slow down!

Anywho, I don't have to say much more about this sweet girl because these photos just speak for themselves!

How is this girl already a senior?! Gabby has been a friend of my oldest two girls since they were little girls and they spent a lot of time at her house since Gabby's mom was my girls' babysitter for a long while. I can still see those little girls running around just giggling and doing what little girls do. So many times after snapping a photo, I kept thinking, man how is she so grown up already? Where did our little girls go? Even though we can't believe it gorgeous girl, I hope you have the best senior year! I can't wait to do our next session in the spring!

This past week we were in Orange Beach / Gulf Shores Alabama for my oldest's daughter's dance nationals. Before our trip, this sweet family and dance friends asked if I would be willing to do some family photos on the beach while we were down there. Of course, I said yes! It was a perfect evening, the lighting was beautiful, and this family was so fun to work with! I just wish I had the beach at my disposal all the time for photos! What a dream!
