The Lake Houston Chamber Singers & orchestra presented a stunning performance of the Schubert Mass No 2 in G last Sunday evening. Pictured are the three soloists: Soprano Elizabeth McGee, Baritone Juan Garza & Tenor Nick Szoeke. McGee wowed the audience as she commanded the stage with her incredible range & calm control over the solo work of the Kyrie, Benedictus & Agnus Dei movements. Garza & Szoeke, in concert with McGee provided an amazing blend of warmth & control over the trio of the Benedictus.

We hope you will plan to join us this Holiday for “Celebrate the Season” as the Lake Houston Chamber Singers sing the story of the birth of Christ from its prophecy to its fulfillment here on earth. Songs of his coming, songs of Mary, songs of his birth & the announcement to the shepherds. These beautiful arrangements of traditional carols will ring in the true spirit of advent that fell upon Bethlehem on that night long ago.

We look forward to seeing all of you with a ticket tomorrow evening, December 1st. There are currently 18 tickets left on line. As a result, there will be NO tickets available at the door. We so appreciate the overwhelming community support for this Season 6 opening concert “Through Love to Light”. The doors will open at 5:30 pm with the concert starting at 6 pm. Carpool with a friend if possible as parking will tight.

We can’t wait to lift your spirits with beautiful sounds and songs of the season!
