Nothing says “thank you baby for all your hard work” quite like a good 🌬️ job. 😬

Before - Fresh. Clean. Hairnet in place, apron on, hope in my eyes that I’ll make several hundred bathbombs today.

After - I’ve become the bathbomb! I’m covered head to toe in bathbomb dust. It’s in my hair, my shoes, my bra, and tracked it into every room I enter.

Curt takes one look at me and decides it’s time for the heavy duty cleaning equipment!

Sometimes the sweetest reminders come in the simplest ways. In this case - a quick email. An email that meant the world to us.

As the world moves faster and feels a little less personal, it means so much to know that the care we put into making, packing, and sending each order is felt on the other end.

We believe there’s still something special about things made by human hands, with good ingredients, intention, and a little heart and humor.

Thank YOU for noticing. And thank YOU for reminding all of us why the little things still matter.

There are animals who enter the world knowing love and safety, and others who are forgotten — neglected, abandoned, or left behind.

Little Purrs Rescue & Rehab mission began with 17 cats a neighbor left behind after she passed away. All unneutered and feral, they became our daughter’s responsibility one by one. She took them in and has since worked tirelessly to spay and neuter them, provide vaccines, food, and medical care — all funded out of her own pocket.

What started as one act of compassion has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and neglected cats.

Taking in special needs animals takes a very special heart to do the work.

Our daughter has that heart. She is one of the most compassionate people we know, and she has chosen to turn that compassion into action. But passion alone cannot cover vet bills, emergency care, food, or shelter — this is where community becomes essential.

These lives depend on us to notice, protect, and give them the chance they never asked for but deeply deserve. So every donation, no matter the size, is immediate impact. It pays for antibiotics for an infection that cannot wait. It covers spay and neuter surgeries that prevent future suffering. It puts food in their bowls.

We’ve started making 8,000 bathbombs for a special client this week.

That’s EIGHT. THOUSAND… 8-0-0-0…. 8 × 10³ 🤣

Our backs are already shot. Our feet are barking. Our hands no longer work. And that healthy glow on my face you’re always asking me about?

Bathbomb dust. It’s bathbomb dust. It’s in our hair. It’s in our clothes. It’s in places the sun doesn’t shine (trust me!)!

Could our client have chosen someone else to mass-produce them? Yup!

But we guarantee those bathbombs would be full of synthetic fillers, colors, and fragrances.

Not ours - Guaranteed!

So we’ll keep mixing, pressing, packing and, continue to question our life choices… because making ridiculously good bathbombs with ingredients we actually believe in is worth every sore muscle to us, and to our client.

Not quite a Netflix documentary, but… If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes… this is part of it.

Mountains of towels and aprons covered in oils, powders and waxes. Oh my!

Our washing machine seems to run all weekend long. And our dryer is stained from exploding pens left in pockets. And we won’t talk about trying to untangle all the strings. Arg!

Every batch we make leaves behind another pile of laundry, but that’s part of making products by hand. We don’t have giant automated production lines—just small batches, real ingredients, and a whole lot of cleanup in between.

It’s not the most glamorous side of running a small business, but it’s one of the important parts of being Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliant!

PSA: it’s HOT 🥵 out there! Luckily, if your Life Elements Sticks Lip Goos or Balms soften or melt on their way to you - just put them I n the fridge to harden back up.

Or, you can actually remelt them over a gentle heat and re-pour. DO NOT MICROWAVE THOUGH!

We love it when customers call with their amazing results. I called Tammy back and thanked her for leaving us this message. She added that she buys a lot of products, but has never been compelled to call the companies - because those products have not done much for her. This was different!
