Welcome
Hello. My name is Tija Sears-Kienholz. I live on the Oregon Coast, work at our local hospital, and love art. I have been creative all my life but kinda lost my way a few times. Over the past year, my art has helped me battle depression and given me an outlet for it. I love to create and challenge myself.
My art is very happy most of the time. I love cartoon style bright colors that bring happiness and joy not only to myself, but to others. Let’s face it, this world we live in can use some rainbows and sunshine. I’ve been known to do commisions also for friends and family. But this is the first time, I’ve done stuff for me and decided to reach out and sell some of what I have.
Go through my albums and browse around. My doodles are fun, and if you would like prints, I can do that for you. I love driftwood and trying to make it even more beautiful with all it’s shapes and designs. Canvas art is new to me, but I’ve been having tons of fun with it. My wood art is done on wooden boards. I paint them just the same as I would canvas but they are coated in polyurethane to make them glossy and weather proof.
Any money made goes right back into my art supplies. This is a hobby for me and helps me to support my fiance’s schooling at this time. Thank you to all that have shown support and given me many challenges. I look forward to expanding my skills and growing in the painting community.
