Filmmaking was never the big deal people made it out to be.
For years, we were told that only certain people, in certain cities, using certain cameras could tell stories.
Today, one person can write, produce, shoot, edit, score, and finish a film from a laptop.
Not because cinema became smaller.
Because access became bigger.
Maybe the real question isn't, "Can I become a filmmaker?"
Maybe it's, "Do I keep coming back to it when nobody asks me to?"
This is Film Festivals To Go® Journal 008.
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
