THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE

This one was an absolute power-up kind of night!

We loved every second of this adventure. It had us jumping from scene to scene like we just hit the arcade jackpot 🎮✨

And speaking of…
This movie was no game… it was total ARCADE-emy award worthy fun! 😉

Baby Mario and Luigi? Almost too cute to handle…
but let’s be honest…
Yoshi stole the show for us 💚

🎭 The Wizard of Oz 🌈✨

This weekend, Jonathan and I were truly carried over the rainbow 🌈 into the adventurous journey of The Wizard of Oz ✨ at The Company Theatre Center for the Arts… and what a magical ride it was.

From the breathtaking transition from black and white 📺 into full color, 🚲 to bicycles spinning through the 🌪️tornado, flying monkeys, and a glowing good witch … the entire production felt like pure magic unfolding right before our eyes.

That magic didn’t just happen… it was created.

A huge shoutout to the incredible creative team who brought Oz to life. Costume Designer Vickie Culligan delivered stunning, show-stopping looks that elevated every character. Dean Palmer Jr. (Lighting Design), Ryan Barrow (Set Design), and Michael Hammond (Video Effects) worked seamlessly together to create that unforgettable visual journey from black and white to color. Beautifully guided by Co-Directors Zoe Bradford and Sally Ashton Forrest.

And the cast… absolutely magnificent.

Sophie Ames as Dorothy Gale truly embodied the role with heart and authenticity.

Graeme Baker as Hunk / Scarecrow brought such charming physical humor to the stage, a joy to watch.

Colin McIsaac as Hickory / Tinman performed with so much heart, even while claiming he didn’t have one.

Cameron Peacock as Zeke / Cowardly Lion had all of us smiling the entire time… unforgettable.

Nora Soma as Glinda was radiant and magical in every moment.

And Maddie Petillo as Miss Gulch / Wicked Witch was captivating, bringing just the right amount of power and presence to the role.

Jonathan couldn’t pick a single standout… he loved them all.

And the supporting cast… applause, applause, applause 👏
From Munchkinland to Oz, every performer added something special that made this journey come alive.
