We wanted to take a moment to pause and give a BIG thank you to behind the scenes muscle here at Battleground Sound and lighting LLC. The logistics and quick thinking that comes with live entertainment is often over looked. Guests come out excited to see a band they follow. They remember the interaction of the band with the crowd, how they sound and find themselves tapping their foot or smacking their hand on their leg to the beat and then they go home. End of story. Well that's only one of many facets of the business.
The hours we invest prepping for the show are vital to ensuring each event runs as smoothly as possible. From unloading and reorganizing trailers, rewiring racks, prepping band scenes, routing inputs/outputs for each band and changeover, organizing gear, and many other things and hours spent on stuff most dont ever see, and that gets done before we even get to a show. It takes a lot to pull off a show, but we are fortunate we have the small but mighty crew we do.
Michael Norman James Sinclair and Austin showed up on Friday after working night shift to help begin the set up (approx 8 hours) for Reese Rockfest then went home to basically to take what felt like a nap to come back and work the day of the event from (8am-1am) So just these two days thats about 25 hours work alone that these 2 put in for us, plus both working another full time job. Thats not including all the prep work. We couldn't have pulled it off without you both. So thank you, sincerely.
And to all the bands and fans who took the time to stop by FOH or Monitor/Lighting world to thank us for what we did this past weekend, we appreciate it more than you know. All of the compliments we were getting, please know that its extremely appreciated.

If you come out to a show and we looked stressed just know we most likely haven't eaten yet, we're sleep deprived, have 1000 things on our minds and have to p*e on top of it. đŸ˜†
Our work is not yet done, even as I type this were on our way to get some gear. We're beyond thankful we are growing the way we are but its important to thank the people who help make it possible!
So again, Mike and Austin thank you so much for everything you guys did this past weekend, it never would've happened without you.....
..and now, we get to do it all again this coming weekend.
