This weekend at the Wheeler: An Evening with Tommy Emmanuel, CGP, Saturday, June 20 at 8 PM. From the Sydney Opera House to Carnegie Hall, Emmanuel’s solo performances deliver an orchestral range on a single acoustic guitar, with music reflecting his newest release, "Living in the Light".

As Patrick Simmons (The Doobie Brothers) put it: “His magical playing sounds like a bunch of guys playing together, but it’s just Tommy on one guitar all by himself.”

A singular solo guitar event is coming soon to the Wheeler stage: Tommy Emmanuel, CGP, Grammy-winning virtuoso and longtime collaborator of Chet Atkins, brings the full range of pop, jazz, classical, and roots influences to one acoustic guitar. His newest release, Living in the Light, was recorded in just four days and captures the daring, intimate artistry that’s made him a global standout.

Chet Atkins said it best: “He’s one of the best guitar players I’ve ever seen.”
