She’s an artist. She’s a musician. And she’s bringing both to the Red Brick this June 18.

Aggie Flores is one of the four artists featured in All That is Close, a new exhibition exploring the infinite in everything near us.

📅 Opening Reception: Thursday, June 18 | 5:00–7:00 PM

Alongside artists
Pattie Lee Becker | Joanne Seongweon Lee Joanne Seongweon Lee | Erin Rigney / Modern Coastal

This exhibition explores that nearness. It invites viewers to consider that immensity exists not only in deep space, but also within the intimate and unseen. The participating artists explore realms and landscapes invisible to the naked eye, suggesting that the inner and outer worlds, the visible and invisible, are not separate, but intertwined.

🎟️ Free & open to the public

“This project is a great example of how safety improvements can also create opportunities for community connection and artistic expression.” Jack Danneberg, senior project manager.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In Bloom, a new pavement mural by Aspen artist chris erickson , is now on view along the S. Galena Street and E. Cooper Avenue corridor through October 31, 2026.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Spanning four busy intersections, the mural draws from Aspen’s mountain landscape and the wildflowers that claim its hillsides and peaks as home.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For Chris, the flower is more than a motif, it’s a symbol of symmetry, joy, and resilience in an uncertain world. The design pays homage to the blossoms that have chosen this unique region, shaped by intense seasons and extreme weather, as their place to thrive.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In Bloom is a collaboration between Aspen Public Art and the city’s engineering department, a reminder that safety improvements and creative expression can share the same ground. A beautiful example of what happens when infrastructure and art work together for the community.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Chris Erickson is an Aspen-based artist known for his use of color in works that blur the line between sculpture and painting, and here, he brings that same eye to the streets beneath your feet.
