A few weeks ago, rehearsals officially began for our production of COME FROM AWAY here at Stage Ten Seventeen, and what an incredible journey it has already been.

At last nights rehearsal, our cast had the extraordinary honor of spending time one-on-one with Sharon Wheatley, who originated the role of Diane in the Broadway production. Sharon generously shared her experiences bringing this remarkable story to life, offered insight into the real people behind the characters, and led our cast through a meaningful deep dive into the events, themes, and humanity that make Come From Away so special.

As we continue preparing to tell this story, opportunities like this remind us of the responsibility and privilege we have in bringing these real-life experiences to our community. We are incredibly grateful to Sharon for her time, wisdom, and passion, and for helping our cast connect even more deeply to the heart of this show.
