Have you heard of Muzzie Braun?

Known as the patriarch of Idaho music royalty, Muzzie has spent decades sharing songs and stories rooted in the West. A longtime Idaho musician and songwriter, his music reflects the people, places, and experiences that make this region special.

Muzzie raised four sons in the mountains of central Idaho who went on to make their own mark in music. Cody and W***y Braun formed Reckless Kelly, while Micky and Gary Braun went on to create Micky & the Motorcars — two bands that have become staples in the Americana and Red Dirt music scene.

With more than 40 years of the Braun Brothers Reunion and a lifetime dedicated to music, Muzzie Braun brings a night of incredible songwriting, stories, and authentic Idaho roots.

If you’ve ever enjoyed Reckless Kelly or Micky & the Motorcars, this is your chance to see where that musical legacy began.

This Saturday’s Muzzie Braun show may be one of the last opportunities to experience live music at the Opera House for the foreseeable future.

Ongoing building-related challenges have created uncertainty about future events, and significant improvements may be needed before additional shows can be held.

With only 25 seats remaining, now is the time to experience a concert in this beautiful building.
This is an all-ages show, making it a great opportunity to share this historic venue with the next generation

Come enjoy a great night of music, celebrate a piece of local history, and help show why preserving spaces like the Opera House matters to our community.
