Five years ago, Jennica Rose Beauty started with brows. (It's been five years!) 😮

Since then, it has grown into so much more.... brows, eyeliner, lip blushing, piercings, and permanent jewelry!

Different services, but always the same idea: low-maintenance beauty that makes getting ready (and feeling like yourself) a little easier.

Today, all of my worlds collided: social worker, mom, piercer.

My little client was really nervous, so we talked about anxiety.... why our brains do it and how feeling anxious doesn’t always mean something is unsafe.

We gave her stuffed puppy a pep talk, and at some point I ended up piercing the puppy’s ears too, complete with a little paw-print diamond 😂

Is this something I normally do? No. Did it make sense in the moment? Absolutely.

A lot of piercing kids is simply meeting them where they are. Today, that included the puppy.

Over the years, I’ve welcomed so many kids into my studio. I pierce all ages, but creating calm, happy, loving experiences for children has become something I’m especially known for.

When someone asks where to take their child for an ear piercing, my name is brought up often and I’m incredibly grateful for that. Reviews like this one mean so much because this is exactly how I want families to feel in my studio 🤍

A couple of small-business shout-outs because, as a small-business owner myself, I know how much they matter. 🤍

My birthday gift to myself this year was a makeup lesson with Morgan at Atyourbestesthetics. I mainly wanted help relearning how to do my base and foundation because, as my skin has changed with age, the things I used to do just weren’t working anymore. She taught me so much and helped me feel confident doing my makeup again.

And I recently had Botox with the ladies at FAB Medical Aesthetics during their pop-up at the studio and I’m loving my results.

Just a little appreciation for women who are great at what they do. If you’ve had a great experience with a small business lately, tell people. It truly means more than you realize 💗

A mom + daughter eyeliner day 🖤

I swear, there is just something about adding definition to the eyes. Even when you have nothing else on, eyeliner makes your eyes look awake and just a little more put together. And getting to do it for these two together made it even better. 🥰
