End-of-Summer Theatre Clean-Out! 🎭

We could use a few extra hands this Saturday, Aug 15 starting at 8:30 a.m. to help us get ready for the next season!

We’ll mostly be clearing out old stuff and hauling things to the dumpster to make some much-needed space.

If you have an hour to spare Saturday morning, we’d love your help!

In the days following September 11, 2001, something extraordinary unfolded in a small town in Newfoundland. As we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, join us in bringing this remarkable true story of kindness, connection, and humanity to the stage.

Come From Away is the Tony Award-winning musical based on the true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in Gander, Newfoundland, following the 9/11 attacks when US airspace was shut down. The show highlights the immense kindness of the residents who welcomed, fed and housed the ‘come from aways’ amidst global uncertainty.

AUDITIONS for Come From Away:
Dates: Sunday, August 23 & Monday, August 24
Time: 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m.
Location: Rinehart Theatre 210 5th Ave E, Ashland, WI 54806
Auditions will consist of an individual 10-minute audition.
Please sign up for a 30-minute time slot.
Once your audition is complete, you are free to leave.

To audition, complete both of the following:

PREPARATION:
Prepare a 3-minute monologue (does not need to be memorized) or simply tell a story. Music will be provided at the audition.
These will be general auditions – not specific to any character.

ROLES AVAILABLE:
The cast requires 6 females and 6 males. Each actor will play at least two roles - one Newfoundlander and one passenger from another country. Ages: 20-70.

Opening Night Tomorrow!
Sixty kiddos have worked hard all week to bring this classic to life.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre along with The Chequamegon Theatre Association presents CINDERELLA, an original adaptation of the classic fairy tale.

A pumpkin coach, Prince Charming, a glass slipper and a dream come true are woven together with the help of the Fairy Godmother in this enchanting musical.

When Cinderella’s stepsisters try to keep Cinderella from attending the ball, the Fairy Godmother enlists the help of the Mice and the Pumpkins and is able to transform Cinderella just in time for the big event.

Also featured in the production are Cleo the Cat, Fido the Dog, the Lords and Ladies, the Town Criers, the King and the Buskers. Experience the unique twist the Missoula Children’s Theatre puts on this classic story.

Join the Chequamegon Theatre Association as they present Missoula Children's Theatre in the production of Cinderella!
