The Rogue Valley Symphony mourns the passing of one of our greatest champions, dearest friends and Interim Executive Director, Asadour Santourian.

Asadour came to the Rogue Valley to retire, but the music he loved wouldn’t let him sit idle for long. The impact he made during his time with RVS will be felt for years to come, and we are forever grateful!

Asadour helped craft our 60th Anniversary Season, which begins this weekend. We will feel him with us all year long as we bring the music he loved so much to life.

I am privileged to be playing with the Rogue Valley Symphony for the Link Up! 2026 “The Orchestra Swings” educational experiences. I’ve never heard hundreds of kids play recorder at the same time in the same room before, so I’m in for a treat. 😂
