Wow, what an opening week! The cast and creative team get a couple of days to exhale and recharge before we dive into Week 2 of Death and the Maiden.

The response from our audience over these first five shows has been truly extraordinary. It's safe to say...Ariel Dorfman’s high-stakes thriller is striking a deep, powerful chord....and....this cast is such a treat!!

As the final production of our season, we knew we wanted to end the year with something memorable—and this show is absolutely hitting the mark. Watching this incredible cast bring their incredible talent and energy to this intimate space is a true privilege.

We are thrilled to feature the phenomenal Jamie Newcomb as Dr. Roberto Miranda in Ariel Dorfman’s gripping thriller, Death and the Maiden!

RTC audiences know Jamie from his unforgettable performances as Rev. Tooker in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Sheriff Deon Gilbeau in August: Osage County.

A master of high-stakes drama, Jamie’s distinguished career spans 14 seasons at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, 9 seasons at Denver Center Theatre, and credits across the nation—from The Public Theater and Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) to The Old Globe and South Coast Rep.
