PIE BAKING CONTEST AND AUCTION-Saturday-September 26th
Love to bake pies? Do you have a blue ribbon pie recipe?
To Enter the 175th Fair Committee Contest :
Make a two (2) crusted fruit pie
Minimum 8", Maximum 10" -Aluminum Pan
Deliver to the Spidel Pavilion between 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Judging begins at 1 p.m. - Collect ribbon(s)
AUCTION of Pies - Begins at 3 p.m. - Everyone Welcome !!

🎄 Friends, it’s officially time to start thinking about Christmas! 🎄

We’re excited to officially partner with the Ashland County Fair once again this year to bring you the 2nd Annual Lights & Delights Holiday Light Drive-Thru at the Ashland County Fairgrounds in 2026! ✨

In 2025, we learned some hard lessons — but that’s what makes our community so amazing. ❤️ We have the ability to adapt, learn, overcome, and come back even stronger. Because of those lessons, we’ve made some essential changes for 2026 to help make this year’s event safer, smoother, and even more enjoyable for everyone.

⚠️ A quick but important note for decorators: Due to the 60 mph winds and unforeseen weather circumstances we experienced last year, we may ask to “review” your space before you leave the fairgrounds to ensure everything is properly tethered and secured and can withstand the elements.

We’re looking forward to making Lights & Delights bigger and better each and every year, and we ask for the community’s grace, patience, and support as we continue to grow this event together.

September is here !!
We're excited about the 175th Ashland County Fair coming up
September 20th-26th!
Plan to come out and enjoy Ashland Community Showcase of livestock and the many, many talented displays and items of projects being worked on throughout the year to be shown at this year's Fair. Check out the schedule for all the weeks activities.
Batesbros.com has discounted ride tickets until Sept. 19th- If you like to ride or have littles who do- check it out!
Join us for Grandstand Events: OSTPA, Harness Racing, Gary Allan Concert, Diamond J Rodeo, Motocross, Stock Tractor Pull, and Demolition Derby.
Be ready to get the Fair Food, Enjoy Music and Activities in the Pavilion, Watch the many Livestock Shows, and Make some Memories !! Jr. Fair Livestock Auction- One Day-Two Ring-Friday.

New Main Doors on Coliseum
New concrete pad at Pavilion side of Hobby Building
Siding on back of Dairy Barn
Painting being done by Buckeye Blasting:
Outside of Restrooms by Mozelle Hall
Step edges up in Grandstand and box seat railings
Office outside door frames
Be watching for new barn signs

Ashland County Fairgrounds Flea Market and Crafts is open today-August 29th until 3 p.m. Lots of items to shop-Bring friends and family and have fun !!

ASHLAND COUNTY FAIR HAS SHOW AND GO SHOWS
1. Rabbit Show - Registered Breed Rabbits-Sunday-Sept. 20
2. Dairy Goat Show - Registered Breed Goats-Saturday-Sept 26
Both can be entered up until the day of their shows. Please see fair book pages for both and how to register for the shows. If you have questions- please call the department people listed at bottom of page(s). Hope to see you in September !!
