We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our amazing vendors and everyone who attended the festival this year.

Despite the rain and unpredictable weather, so many of you stayed and supported the festival.We are truly grateful.

We know some have wondered why the festival couldn't be rescheduled or pushed back a day. While that may sound simple, it most definitely is not. We work on this event year round with lots of planning and coordination. There are hundreds of moving parts—including volunteers, workers, entertainers, portable restroom rentals, equipment rentals, public safety personnel, sponsors, and other events already scheduled in our area. Rescheduling all of those pieces to another date is simply not possible.

From all of us with the Clay County Yellow Meated Watermelon Festival, thank you for believing in our festival, supporting our community, and sticking with us through the rain.

We look forward to seeing you again next year—hopefully under Sunny Skies!

Due to the threat of thunderstorms tomorrow morning, we have moved the location of the show and Auction to the Clay County Show Barn located at 85588 SR-9 Ashland, AL 36251 behind the farmers market.

There is a limited amount of bleacher seating. Please feel free to bring your own chairs. Please share with your friends and family. Remember, no cash for the auction.

After the show we’re still going to see our friends at the Clay County Alabama Yellow Meated Watermelon Festival. They have worked so hard to make this event a success! See ya tomorrow!
