Kids will have the opportunity to paint their very own hot air balloon wind chime while enjoying a free lunch and a fun afternoon at the spray park. 🎈🎨

Is your child heading to kindergarten this fall? Give them a fun head start with Safety Town at The Ashland Kroc Center!

Through interactive activities, games, and hands-on lessons, children will learn important safety skills they'll use every day—from pedestrian and traffic safety to stranger awareness and more. Plus, they'll make new friends and build confidence before the first day of school!

The Ashland Kroc Center will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. This includes all areas of The Kroc, including our Food Pantry and Community Meals programs.

As we commemorate this important day in our nation's history, we pause to reflect on the gift of freedom, the dignity and worth of every person, and God's call for justice, unity, and love for our neighbors.

We pray you have a blessed and meaningful Juneteenth as we honor the past and celebrate the freedom that brings hope for the future. ❤️

🚨 TODAY'S SPECIAL EVENT UPDATE 🚨

Unfortunately, the Mansfield Mounted Unit will be unable to join us for today's Summer Food Service Program Special Event due to unexpected vehicle issues.

But don't worry—there's still plenty of fun to be had! 🐾

The Ashland K-9 Unit will still be here, and we invite everyone to stop by, meet the officers and their incredible K-9 partners, ask questions, and learn more about their important work in our community.

🍽 FREE lunch will also be available for all youth ages 18 and under as part of our Summer Food Service Program.

Camp Invention at The Ashland Kroc Center is going strong! 🚀🔬💡

This week, more than 70 campers are diving into the exciting world of STEM, creativity, collaboration and invention. From hands-on experiments to problem-solving challenges, these young innovators are learning, creating, and having an amazing time together.

A special shout-out to a some of our amazing Junior Counselors, Ridge, Ellie and Liam, who have brought incredible energy, enthusiasm, and leadership to the camp each day.

We are grateful for everyone who is making this week such a success and can't wait to see what these future inventors create.

🎉💦 WOW! What a day!

The Ashland Kroc Center Spray Park Opening Day & SFSP Free Lunch Summer Kick-Off Carnival was a HUGE success!

More than 400 guests joined us to celebrate the opening of the Spray Park and the start of the Summer Food Service Program (FREE Summer Lunches). From splashing through the spray park water to enjoying carnival fun, there were smiles everywhere you looked!

Seeing so many children and families laughing, playing, and making memories together made this day truly special. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and to our incredible staff and volunteers who helped make the event possible.

Summer is officially here at the Kroc, and we can't wait for all the fun still to come! ☀️🌊🎪
