THIS THURSDAY! 😀

Join ART on FIRST and Martina Goldberg for ART in ACTION, an opportunity to meet, experience, and interact with Martina while she provides a live demonstration of her painting. Martina works mostly with acrylics to capture the visual aspects of landscapes in Mexico combined with a Northern European spirit, taking her expression beyond the limits of her viewers’ eyes. Using just a few visual elements and a limited palette, Martina’s paintings are often dramatically contrasted but also subtly blended, which is her way of interpreting the essence and mood of her compositions, always aiming to evoke in her viewers an inner landscape.

ART in ACTION will take place on Thursday, June 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Don't miss out!

This year’s theme, Belonging, invites artists and visitors alike to explore what it means to feel connected to a place, a community, and one another. For one vibrant weekend, the plaza will transform into an open-air art studio as twenty-three regional muralists create large scale public artwork in real time. Watch blank walls become colorful works of art, meet the artists behind the murals, and experience creativity unfolding right before your eyes. Come celebrate contemporary artists and the vibrant role that public art plays in shaping and reflecting our community.

Mural Fest III will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and June 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Don't miss out!

Join Rogue Gallery and Art Center and Marrow Collective for the Opening Reception of Wall Ride! 😀

Skateboarding and art have always evolved side by side. From deck graphics and zines, to murals and illustration, skate culture has long been shaped by artists pushing visual boundaries. Skateboarding itself is also an art form. Like dance or music, it is shaped by rhythm, movement, and personal style. Each skater approaches the same space differently - finding new lines, reimagining architecture, and turning everyday streets, curbs, and stair sets into opportunities for expression.

Wall Ride invites artists to use skateboard decks as their canvas, celebrating the shared spirit of experimentation, individuality, as well as community that connects skateboarding and the arts. During the Opening Reception, there will be food trucks, skate ramps, a pop-up skate shop, and live painting on a skateboard!

The Opening Reception will take place on Friday, June 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Don't miss out!

Join Scavenger Studios and Dustin Brinkman, Visiting Artist and 2026 Artist in Residence, for a Drypoint Monoprint Workshop! 😀

In this workshop, participants will explore the techniques of drypoint, monoprint, and selective wiping to create fine line drawings with atmospheric tone. Learn how to hand draw into plexiglass, ink, wipe, and print on an etching press using viscosity rolls to create unique impressions. The workshop will begin with the drypoint carving process, which focuses on line and mark marking, and is capable of capturing subtle details. After proofing carvings, participants will transition to the monoprint process, which will expand the range of tones and gradation in images. Participants will have the ability to experiment with various color combinations during the printing process, and be given plenty of assistance and hands-on instruction.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For more information and to register, please visit www.scavengerstudios.net.

For over thirty years, Catie has been an artist, writer, and community organizer, melding her artwork with social and environmental projects. Her works attempt to use humor, balance, insight, color, and gravity to explore questions both new and old.
