The Ashland Gallery Association has been a champion of the visual arts for years, celebrating our talented artists through cherished community traditions such as First Friday Art Walks, Southern Oregon Open Studios, and the Annual Ashland Gallery Guide. Through events like First Friday Art Walk, A Taste of Ashland, The Annual Student Art Show, and Ashland Open Studio Tour, the Ashland Gallery Association adds to the cultural and economic vitality of our region.

Ashland Art Works’ Featured Artists for September are Michael Gibson, and Stef and Dan Seffinger. ☺️

Michael has worked as a designer, art director, and taught life drawing, illustration, painting, graphic design, and photography at the Art Institutes of Houston and Seattle. His passion for art, travel, and photography is reflected in his work. Stef and Dan are award-winning kiln-formed glass artists whose work combines artistry, craftsmanship, and innovative glass techniques. Their work reflects a passion for color, texture, and the unique possibilities of glass.

The Community Art Space features work by the Mountain Meadows Artists. Each abstract composition invites curiosity and engages the imagination. Whether it’s watercolor, photography, alcohol ink, or collage, a mystery can be found lurking with a careful look, becoming an entirely new world to experience and explore.

Don't forget to join Ashland Art Works for September First Friday Art Walk, taking place tonight from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Join Trinity Episcopal Church for September First Friday Art Walk! 😀

Currently featured are floral acrylic paintings by Dela Zimmerman. Dela creates archival giclee prints from her original acrylic paintings of florals that have the precision and accuracy of botanical illustrations while being artistically beautiful. After a lifetime of professional opera performance and other endeavors, Dela has finally retired and grown a garden filled with flowers that she has photographed then painted. During September First Friday Art Walk, taking place tomorrow from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., there will be live music, tours of the historic church, and a decorated labyrinth.

TONIGHT! 😀

Join Gypsyroadstudio for the Opening Reception of Art in Wool and Silk, by Suzanne Warden. Through natural fibers, Suzanne seeks to capture and preserve fleeting glimpses of the natural world. She enjoys challenging herself with a wide range of subjects, sometimes creating a recognizable depiction of an animal or landscape, and other times exploring the intricate, almost abstract details found within a small object in the wild.

The Opening Reception will take place tonight from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Don't forget to join them for September First Friday Art Walk, taking place this Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Join Hummingbird Heart Co. and The Haines & Friends Visual Arts Grant Program for the Creative Awardees Celebration! 😀

The Creative Awardees Celebration highlights the talented individuals who received grants in 2025. Come experience the diverse and vibrant artistry of those whose innovative art showcases the power of imagination and creativity. The Creative Awardees Celebration not only acknowledges the achievements of those who received a grant, but it also highlights the vital role of the arts. Taking place for over ten years now, The Haines & Friends Visual Arts Grant Program awarded a total of 26 grants and distributed a total of $60,000.00.

The Creative Awardees Celebration will take place on Friday, September 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during September First Friday Art Walk. Don't miss out!

Join Fusion Artworks a Petite Gallery for September First Friday Art Walk! 😀

For Mori D., art has always been a vision created from a particular deep and dreamlike state. With her process, ideas flow, and when they don't, a pause is necessary to allow that vision to proceed, continue, and complete. Alternatively, John Garloff is motivated to express and share his art through gratitude for love and life, as well as with connections with people, the planet, and its beauty. Working with metal, his style is a fusion of inspirations including industrialism and the influential godfather of steampunk, Jules Verne.

During September First Friday Art Walk, taking place this Friday at 8:00 p.m., John will reveal a new indoor and outdoor illuminated sculpture that celebrates the harmonious spirit of life. Don't miss out!

Join us for the Opening Reception of our Annual Member Exhibition, taking place tomorrow from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Our Annual Member Exhibition will feature multiple talented artists and include everything from fluid and abstract watercolor paintings, to familiar favorite plein air paintings, stunning portraits, and more.

Our Annual Member Exhibition will be on display until Sunday, September 20 at the Collier Gallery at CTP (Collaborative Theatre Project), located at 555 Medford Center in Medford. It will serve as a fundraising initiative to support the Ashland Gallery Association, and all work purchased will support our work in championing our vibrant and beyond talented visual arts community in Southern Oregon. We can't wait to see you there!

Currently featured at Lamanna Blackwell Group, Cascade Hasson Sotheby's International Realty are fluid abstract paintings by Cindy Triplett. ☺️

Cindy loves to experiment with different compositions, whether it's through portraiture, landscape, or abstraction. Using watercolor on paper and acrylic on canvas to express the natural beauty of water, landscapes, flora, and fauna, she incorporates impressions of the sea, mountains, and storms while providing a basis of abstraction. Come and take a look at some old favorites as well as never-before-seen paintings. There will be a new card line, smaller paintings, prints, and unframed watercolors.

During September First Friday Art Walk, taking place on Friday, September 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., meet Cindy and enjoy music and snacks. We can't wait to see you there!

Join Art & Soul Ashland for September First Friday Art Walk! 😀

Currently featured are abstract watercolor paintings by Lynda Hoffman-Snodgrass. From shared experiences in realism, tributes to spirituality, and journeys into abstraction, Lynda's work is a culmination and a sharing of her life experiences, dreams, inner visions, and all that she is. As a third generation artist, Lynda was encouraged to explore and express her creativity at an early age. Her primary medium is watercolor, with a strong emphasis on color and design, and the most important part of a painting for her is the message or experience that she wants to share with her viewers.

September First Friday Art Walk will take place on Friday, September 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Don't miss out!

Are you a local artist looking for a place to showcase and sell your work? Art du Jour Gallery, located in Downtown Medford, is seeking new artist members! For more than twenty years, Art du Jour Gallery has been showcasing the incredible creative talent of Southern Oregon. Their cooperative gallery features twenty local artists working in a variety of mediums including painting, photography, pottery, glass, and more.

LAST CHANCE! 😀

The Regular Registration Deadline for Southern Oregon Open Studios is THIS SUNDAY! Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and October 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Southern Oregon Open Studios is a fun and unique opportunity for visual artists to show off their creative realms. Opening their workspaces to the public and revealing some incredible surprises, this is a place that artists love to work and even just one visitor's interest and curiosity can spark stimulation and new ideas.

Members of the Ashland Gallery Association who are based in Ashland, Talent, Phoenix, Medford, and Jacksonville are encouraged to participate. The Regular Registration Fee is $70.00 per Open Studio and $30.00 per Guest Artist. The deadline to register is Sunday, August 30.
